This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

The Technical Program Manager works in conjunction with the New Production Introduction group as well as a multi-functional team of Design, Production, Supplier Quality, Test, Service and Engineering Program Engineers to ensure that top quality products and services and drive on-time delivery.

• Participate in the project proposal phase with sales/proposal team to review customers’ specifications and leading DFM review and discussion
• Work with project manager during design phase to lead design reviews and drive lessons learned and use predictive methods to anticipate and avoid technical risks early in development cycle.
• Provide leadership and vision of the project technical scope, a good coordinator for the whole process across functions of mechanical, electrical, control and specific application, also external factors.
• Lead the solution of technical problems in the product development stage, including process design, quality problem analysis, equipment and fixture problem review. Ensure that problems are dealt with in a timely manner and standards are effectively implemented.
• Lead technical discussions and meetings both internally with team members and externally with customers.
• Maintain open MIL daily on site and lead technical team to drive issues closure for NPI project during different verification build test, such as EVT, PVT until to mass production
• Maintain regular report with good presentation skill.
• Work with project manager to consolidate the plan to ensure the right resource is allocated and to meet each milestone.
• Work with project manager and SCM for vendor and contractor down selection and fulfil the TA and SOW to pursue a good delivery with good quality and cost control.
• Work with project manager to manage the project according to agreed requirements, ensuring that all targets are met, and that relevant guidelines are followed.
• Safety management.
• Control project documentation, ECN and COR management.
• Project budget management and tracking.
• Build and maintain ABB/Customer relationship / Ensure Customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in engineering/electrical/automatic control/mechanical

• In-depth knowledge in quality methodologies with common of tools, including statistical analysis, DOE, FMEA, etc.

• Excellent problem solver, using structured problem solving methodology to assign root cause, plus develop and implement corrective and preventative actions

• Minimum 3 years of experience in NPI project in Electronics/3C field preferred.

• With experience in engineering of automation system project

• Fluent English communication skills both in oral and written

• Be able to travel locally and aboard up to 30%

• Excellent project leadership skills. Program / Project Management experience preferred. PMP certificate holder (preferred)

•Excellent de-bugging skills. Must have demonstrable ability to solve problems under pressure and tight time constraints

• Working experience in foreign companies (desired)
