Job Purpose
· In-charge of the Health, Safety and Environment System to ensure the compliance and enhance the related processes for the most efficiency and effectiveness
· Primarily to ensure a safe, healthy, good working environment in the factory.
· To maintain and improve ISO 14001, 45001 and 50001 compliances.
· To supervise and ensure contractors providing a safety working procedure to meet construction specifications and agreement terms.
Principal Responsibilities
· Develop, implement and execute overall health, safety, security and environment matters in the Company and to advise and make recommendations to the Management pertaining compliance to all statutory/legislation, industry or regulatory bodies requirements on same.
· Issue, implement, update and improve comprehensive Safety Manual/Procedure and monitor HSE violations to ensure a safe working environment with the emphasis of continuous improvement.
· Training and demonstrate general and specific safety procedures such as Hot work, LOTO, Working at height, Confine space or else to employees and contractors.
· Issue/verify and monitoring all work permits day by day such as hot work permits, confined space/restricted entries, logout/tag out permits and/or any other work permit the Company may enforce;
· Verify construction specifications through safety perspective and feedback or recommend to project owner before installation
· Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by:
· Participating in good manufacturing practices and establishing appropriate Safe Operating Procedure (SOP, WI)
· Risk assessment involves all department and contractors’ activities refer to WI, SOP and JSEA format.
· Environment management of the factory including the Aspect Impact study.
· Administering audiometric, noise, environment, air quality or any relevant tests at required intervals or as and when required.
· Ensuring proper periodic maintenance and checklist for all safety dept responsibility machines or equipment.
· Sourcing, maintaining, distributing and enforcing use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment [PPE] and safety equipment
· Managing the proper disposal of scheduled waste.
· Assume responsibility as Secretary to the HSE Committee with responsibility of:
· organizing safety audits;
· documenting and following up on the agreed necessary actions;
· Liaise with the Plant Manager (or assigned person) to achieve target dates for factory expansion and installation of new machines from the Safety aspects. Together with Technical Services personnel, liaise with the relevant Government Authorities on HSE matters including for certification of Site License and Machineries
· Develop plans for and assume key role in the Company’s emergency response organization and crisis management organization and undertake work-study applications for implementation to improve overall safety, security and productivity standards on site.
· Be a leader in Leading indicators responsibilities such as Hazard identification project to collect reports and follow all actions.
· Continuous improvement of equipment performance to increase reliability and cost control.
· Conduct accident investigation and prepare analysis report and recommendation for corrective action and measures to avoid its recurrence.
· Review monthly reports such as HSE, Tableau de board, Evotix, waste report, etc.
· Carbon footprint project responsibility
Job Requirements:
• Minimum Degree in Engineering or Health, Safety & Environment
(Health, Safety & Environment, Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering) or its equivalent.
• Master’s degree in HSE or Engineering is a plus
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in HSE or related areas
• Strong problem analysis/solving skills as well as verbal and written communication in Thai and English.
• Knowledge in Manufacturing Management principles as well as HSE systems
• Knowledge of maintenance, Health, Safety, Environment standard and applicable laws, and regulation.
• Manufacturing equipment application and safety requirement
• Good leadership and people management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and self-motivation
