As a Technical Support Center Specialist, you will be the frontline expert supporting BD's industry-leading Pyxis® Automated Dispensing Systems, partnering with hospitals and healthcare providers to ensure critical technology remains operational when it matters most.
This is an exciting opportunity for IT professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, database analysis, systems support, and customer engagement while contributing to technologies that positively impact patient safety.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide advanced technical support to internal and external customers for BD software and hardware solutions.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to Pyxis® ES Systems.
- Analyze system logs, databases, and application performance to identify root causes and drive resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage escalations and deliver timely customer solutions.
- Support healthcare customers through critical incidents while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve support processes and customer experience.
What You'll Bring
Technical Expertise
You should have hands-on experience in several of the following areas:
- Microsoft SQL Server (SQL 2008/2012 or similar)
- SQL query development, data analysis, Select, Join and troubleshooting
- SSIS, SQL Jobs and SQL Reporting Services
- Windows Server environments and Windows Services
- IIS and Web Applications
- Performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Active Directory administration
- XML review and analysis
- VMware environments
- Network troubleshooting including DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Ports and Telnet
- Application and Operating System log analysis
- Security permissions and Group Policy fundamentals
- Wireshark or network packet analysis tools

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in technical support, helpdesk, systems administration, or application support roles
- Project management experience is advantageous
Preferred Certifications
Any of the following certifications would be highly valued:
- CCNA / CCNP
- CompTIA A+
- MCTS
- MCSE
