Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdWe are seeking a skilled Technical Parts Advisor to deliver expert support across the full lifecycle of customer equipment.
In this role, you’ll combine your technical knowledge and customer service expertise to interpret customer requests, identify correct parts and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers, ensuring every interaction reflects professionalism, urgency, and a commitment to quality.
The key responsibilities of this dynamic role will include but not be limited to:
Deliver exceptional service via phone and face-to-face interactions.
Accurately process parts orders to meet “on time, in full” expectations.
Interpret customer needs using CAT systems, manuals, and technical knowledge.
Interpret fault codes and provide fit-for-purpose parts solutions.
Provide technical advice and product support across a diverse equipment range.
Maintain accurate data across systems and adhere to operational standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key account customers.
Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, freight, service) to resolve issues and ensure seamless delivery.
Support after-hours service requirements when needed.

About you:
Trade qualified with 3+ years’ of experience in customer service, order fulfilment and technical support.
Proven ability to interpret customer issues and recommend solutions.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience with CAT systems or similar diagnostic tools (highly regarded).
