SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Join our team as a Technical Engineer and help ensure every painting job delivers the right results!
In this role you will visit project sites, supervise painting activities, and make sure Jotun products are applied correctly and safely according to technical requirements. You’ll inspect and test work, solve customer issues, recommend the best coating systems, support product trials, and work closely with R&D to troubleshoot technical challenges.

This role is based at our Head Office in New Cairo and reports to the Technical Sales Support Manager within the Decorative Projects Team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor painting activities and ensure Jotun products are applied in accordance with technical specifications, approved procedures, and quality standards.

• Perform on-site inspections, assessments, and testing, preparing technical reports to verify compliance with project requirements and product performance.

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints by conducting site inspections, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, and following through the complete resolution process.

• Collaborate with the R&D team to troubleshoot technical issues, provide application recommendations, and support field trials for new products.

• Recommend suitable coating systems and application methods based on project conditions, while monitoring paint consumption and reporting any deviations or shortages.

• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring all painting activities comply with HSE regulations and Jotun's safety standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

What We Look For:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.

• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

• Minimum 3 years of experience on construction sites.
