At Shell Low Carbon Solutions (LCS) Biogas (formerly Nature Energy), we're looking for two ambitious Technical Graduates to join our Emerging Talent Program, starting in February 2027. This two-year graduate journey offers hands-on experience across multiple business areas, exposure to international projects, and the opportunity to develop into a future technical leader within one of Europe's leading biogas organizations.
Make Your Mark on the Energy Transition
As a Technical Graduate, you will become part of a fast-growing business that is transforming organic waste into renewable energy. From day one, you'll work alongside industry experts, contribute to real business challenges, and gain valuable experience across our operations, project, and engineering environments. Through three exciting rotations, you'll develop both technical expertise and business understanding while building a strong professional network across Shell's Low Carbon Solutions organization.
Your Graduate Journey
The program consists of three 8-month rotations across our key business areas:
- Asset Management (Operations), where you learn about and work with the operation of our biogas plants on both an operational and strategic level within the areas of Production and Maintenance, Production Optimization & Planning, and Supply Chain, as well as how ongoing changes and issues are handled. Your work location for this rotation will be Odense
- Construction, where you gain insight and experience with planning, execution, and project management concerning the construction of our future biogas plants both nationally and internationally. Your work location for this rotation will be Odense, Aarhus or Støvring
- Engineering, where you become familiar with our Engineering processes concerning project management and design of biogas plants in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, and Drawings. Your work location for this rotation will be Odense, Aarhus or Støvring
Throughout the program, you'll primarily be based at our headquarters in Odense, with opportunities to work from our offices in Aarhus and Støvring as well as at production sites and construction projects across Denmark and potentially internationally. You'll join a collaborative and inclusive environment where innovation, safety, and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do. Most importantly, you'll be trusted with meaningful responsibilities and supported by experienced leaders who are invested in your growth and success.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for curious, driven, and ambitious graduates who want to make a real difference. You are either about to complete or have recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Automation Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Marine Engineering
- Science or related technical disciplines
You should have no more than one year of professional work experience.
In addition, you:
- Are passionate about sustainability and the green energy transition
- Thrive in collaborative and diverse environments
- Communicate effectively in both Danish and English
- Enjoy taking ownership and tackling new challenges
- Bring creativity, curiosity, and a forward-thinking mindset
- Are willing to travel within Denmark and internationally when required
- Hold a valid driver's license and are comfortable working across multiple locations
