About The Role

HUB continues to experience explosive growth and is seeking a dynamic client focused Team Lead to join our Personal Insurance Team in our Oakville office. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to build their insurance career and manage a book of business supported by a great leadership team and work culture. This role reports directly into the Manager, Personal Insurance.

What You’ll Do

• Manage all aspects of an existing book of business
• Service, Quote and Sell Home and Auto insurance policies based on clients’ needs
• Provide an exceptional client experience
• Underwrite new and existing business for pricing and risk analysis
• Work with a great team of insurance brokers and leaders, supported by coaching and mentoring
• Provide insight to drive the company forward as a member of the Personal Insurance team

Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success

• RIBO license required
• Client experience focus
• Sales or Customer Service experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Insurance Industry designations such as CAIB, CIP an asset

The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, i.e., base salary plus commission. As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at a particular time. The expected base salary for this position is $54,000 to $62,000, plus commissions will be paid based on successful sales performance. The total compensation will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses for some positions.
