Position Overview: 

As a Facilitator Team Lead, you’ll play a key role in turning ideas into action by helping to lead a team of facilitators and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Essential Functions:

• Team Leadership: 
  • Support area leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Support training initiatives of team members in standardized work through job instruction (JI).
  •  Maintains daily communication with Work Team Leader and team members.
• Lean Six Sigma Support:
  • Mentor White, Yellow and Green Belt projects through the DMAIC process.
  • Provide support for White, Yellow, and Green Belt training sessions.
  • Drive 5’s standards throughout site.
  • Performs problem identification and Kaizen activities.
  • Conducts hour x hour, standardized work, and problem-solving documentation.
• Data & Reporting: 
  • Maintain and update the BBG TCA database to ensure accurate, actionable insights.
• Tool Management: 
  • Oversee and improve Continuous Improvement tools to keep them effective and user-friendly.
• Strategic Backup: 
  • Serve as a backup to the Site Continuous Improvement Manager, supporting broader initiatives as needed.
  • Serve as production leadership backup as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Yellow Belt Certified with completion of multiple successful projects
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Platform or other data visualization tools
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Trained
• Experience leading teams or projects
• Strong problem-solving and proven ability to handle multiple projects at a time
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field

Working Conditions:   

• Regularly required to work in outdoor conditions, lifting parts and pieces up to 50 lbs., traveling up and down stairs on a constant basis, sitting, squatting, and bending in various awkward positions for certain lengths of time - including working overhead, traveling in and out of work areas, walking and being on your feet for a majority of the workday. Exposed to noise, dust, and fumes daily.  Pushing and pulling material carts.  Physical exertion is required.

The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.50 – $28.92, hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.

At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
