Your background

• You are currently pursuing a Master's or Bachelor’s degree at a university in Austria.
• You are interested in collaborating with ABB Group as part of your thesis.
• You are motivated to apply academic knowledge to real-world challenges.
• You enjoy learning, asking questions and working with people from different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
• You can communicate confidently in English; German may be beneficial depending on the project.

You don't need to have everything figured out yet.

How it works

Apply to our Master Thesis Talent Pool and tell us a little about yourself, your studies, your interests and your preferred timeline. If there is a good match, we will connect you with relevant ABB teams and potential thesis opportunities. The final thesis topic, scope and supervision will be defined together with the respective ABB team and your university.

We will align the minimum compensation based on your educational level within the salary range of 2,553.12 EUR to 3,009.82 EUR monthly for the full-time position. This will be based on the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement from May 2026.
