Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist

Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)

Full-Time, Remote Work.

Salary: South African Rand (ZAR)

We are looking for a professional, organised, and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our recruitment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing qualified candidates, conducting initial screenings and interviews, managing candidate pipelines, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and can confidently manage multiple vacancies and candidates at the same time.

Key Responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates through job boards, recruitment platforms, social media, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
• Review applications and CVs to identify candidates who meet the requirements of each vacancy.
• Conduct initial telephone and video screening interviews.
• Assess candidates based on their experience, qualifications, communication skills, and overall suitability for the role.
• Maintain an active candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide timely updates.
• Follow up with candidates to ensure they progress through each stage of the recruitment process.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment information.
• Manage multiple candidates and vacancies simultaneously.
• Work closely with the wider recruitment team to understand hiring requirements and priorities.
• Ensure candidates are appropriately screened and matched to suitable opportunities.
• Assist with recruitment administration and other tasks as required.

Requirements

• 1-2 years recruitment experience
• Experience recruiting within healthcare, childcare, education, social care, or similar industries is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of professional communication and candidate screening.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident conducting telephone and video interviews.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets, ATS platforms, recruitment systems, and online sourcing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and vacancies simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Professional, friendly, and approachable personality.
