Partner with the best
As a System Operability Engineer, you're responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems for a variety of industries, such as Oil and Gas, Fertilizer, Petrochemical and Clean Energy. These include:
- Engineering for Process simulation and optimization of Industrial Plants. This includes dynamic simulation and process calculations, establishing flow charts, implementing components like pumps, compressors, turbines, heat balance, etc.
- Getting involved in flow diagrams, operational concepts (poc), water steam/operating cycle, cooling water and/or air system, performance guarantees, material balances, equipment sizing, P&IDs, PFUPS, etc.
- Expecting to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise based upon precedents.
- Engaging in customizing projects to client needs. Conveys technical information both to clients and to colleagues out of other functions.
- Playing supportive role in knowledge management gathering data and storing them in a system.

Requirements:
- Have a Bachelor/Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED
- Have a minimum of 2-10 additional years of experience in Process Engineering simulations and plant level understanding in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer and other Chemical engineering domains
- Simulation software expertise (UNISIM, ASPEN HYSYS)
- Have Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Strong candidates will demonstrate:
- Experience with
- Centrifugal Compressors (Primary)
- Reciprocating Compressors (Good to Have)
- Gas Turbines (Good to Have)
- Electric Motor (Good to Have)
- Experience with startup, shutdown and steady state simulation of the above-mentioned products in either UNISIM or HYSYS
- A basic understanding of the mechanical aspects of compression trains (shaft design, couplings, gearboxes etc.)
