About Us - Operating Room

• Freeman Health System’s main operating room has nine surgical suites and offers a variety of specialties including gynecology, ear, nose and throat, orthopedics, cosmetic and neurosurgery

What You’ll Do 

Under the supervision of the registered professional nurse, participates in the intraoperative phase of patient care.

Requirements 

• Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program or has greater than two years of clinical practice as a Scrub Tech in a hospital setting.

• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.

Preferred Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
