Job Description

Supplemental Part-Time Eventing Team Coach Job Description:

The Eventing team coach will be expected to lead and manage all aspects of the Eventing team, and the following services are required, in collaboration with the rest of the English equestrian studies program faculty and staff:

1. Fulfill all head coaching responsibilities for the UF Eventing team, specifically at the team practices and in the competitive events and fundraisers.

2. Arrange team try outs, select team members, communicate team activities to Eventing team students, instruct/ supervise team practices, order team-wear, and travel to Eventing team competitions with students.

3. Work collaboratively with the other faculty to ensure that students on the Eventing team are receiving quality instruction and individualized attention.

4. Conduct oneself as a professional and a representative of the University of Findlay, and engage in active recruitment of prospective students for the degree programs and the Eventing team.

5. Maintain current knowledge of the rules and regulations that govern the Eventing discipline.
