Summer Internship Programme 2027 – Global Compliance

We are currently offering internship opportunities in our Global Compliance stream, where you will gain practical exposure to the regulatory and control environment of an international bank. Working alongside Compliance colleagues, you will learn how the function supports responsible business conduct, regulatory compliance and effective risk management.

What you will do

• Support regulatory research and assist in summarising relevant requirements and developments.
• Assist with compliance reviews, documentation, reporting and data-quality checks, including work related to KYC and AML where applicable.
• Contribute to monitoring, issue tracking, process improvement and compliance awareness initiatives.
• Work carefully with confidential information while developing your analytical skills, professional judgement and understanding of regulatory expectations.

Job Requirements:

• Penultimate-year students from a reputable university with strong academic results;
• Students pursuing Law, Risk Management, Finance, Business, Economics or other relevant disciplines are preferred;
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
• Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, risk management, KYC or AML concepts would be an advantage;
• Proficiency in English. Fluency in Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage;
• Self-motivated with a genuine interest in compliance, regulatory developments and risk management within the banking industry;
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with a high level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail; and
• Willingness to learn, handle information with discretion and demonstrate a can-do attitude.
