Job: Street Sweeper Operator
Location: Livermore, CA
Pay: $23.00-25.00/hr depending on experience
Hours: M-F with early start time and mandatory weekend work as needed.

The work you perform each day ensures that the storm water that returns to the ocean is clean. You will be working at various locations throughout SoCal cleaning a variety of different storm drain devices.

Your Responsibilities as a Street Sweeper Operator:

• Operate equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks to include but not limited to street sweeper, backpack blower, pressure washer and hand-tools. Willingness and ability to learn to use this and other equipment as needed.
• Maintaining street sweeper vehicles and equipment by performing daily cleaning and conducting standard checks.
• Filling the street sweeper's water tanks and operating rotary brushes and water spray controls.
• Clearing trash, debris, snow, and contaminants from streets and curbs.
• Reporting any incidents or mechanical failures to management.
• Maintaining accurate driver logs and 3-part forms.
• Adhering to traffic safety regulations by using appropriate signaling and signage.

What we're looking for:

• You must have a valid Driver License, reliable transportation, cell phone, and clean driving record
• You have ability to operate a street sweeper, backpack blower, pressure washer, generator, and other related equipment
• You can communicate in English (reading and writing)
• Filling the street sweeper's water tanks and operating rotary brushes and water spray controls.
• Exercising caution when operating in confined spaces, congested streets and construction sites.
• Clearing trash, debris, snow, and contaminants from streets and curbs.
• You can perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects
• Kneeling, bending, and squatting are performed throughout the day
• No experience necessary, we will train you
