This is an exciting leadership position and an opportunity for you to light the way as as a Strategic Sourcing Manager Technology Platforms  - LED/Semiconductors in Eindhoven with Signify.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager Technology Platforms - LED/Semiconductors is accountable for the global strategy for technology platforms including cost competitiveness, supply resilience, and innovation enablement of semiconductor and LED components used across lighting electronics, drivers, systems, and connected platforms.

This role ensures secure access to critical technologies, competitive total cost of ownership, and alignment between R&D roadmaps, manufacturing needs, and supplier ecosystems, while managing high geopolitical, capacity, and lifecycle risks inherent to the semiconductor and LED markets.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Platform-level sourcing strategies aligned with product and technology roadmaps
• Executive-level supplier and ecosystem management across hardware and software
• Advanced commercial models covering silicon pricing, software licensing, and long-term supply
• Proactive risk and resilience management in geopolitically exposed supply chains
• Total cost of ownership and lifecycle value optimization
• Advanced negotiation skills

Critical Experiences

• You are a senior sourcing professional with 8–12+ years of experience in semiconductors and/or software platforms, combining strong technical literacy with commercial and strategic capability
• You have a deep understanding of semiconductor value chains, software licensing models, and platform economics
• You are able to influence cross-functional stakeholders at senior and executive level
• You have deep understanding of semiconductor & software platform economics
• You are experienced in contract law, IP & licensing structures
• You understand and pro-actively manage risk & resilience planning in high tech and platform ecosystems
• Proven ability to bridge engineering, business, and suppliers in complex technology environment
