Located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, TPC San Antonio is a private resort, accessible exclusively to Members, their guests and guests of the adjoining JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa. TPC San Antonio provides our Members and Resort guests the avenue to enjoy 36-holes of championship golf, along with a host of resort benefits, from fine dining to luxury spa treatments to hours at the on-site Riverbluff Water Experience.  TPC San Antonio opened in January 2010 with two 18-hole championship golf courses designed by two of golf’s most innovative architects: Pete Dye and Greg Norman. Both courses have played host to TOUR events with The Oaks course serving as the host venue of the PGA TOUR’s Valero Texas Open since 2010.

QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent education, college degree preferred. Thorough knowledge of general business practices, retail sales practices and procedures as would be acquired through two to three years of similar experience. Previous merchandise and/or inventory experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

• Accurately prepare, receive, code, track and file all golf-related purchase orders and invoices. Return all merchandise invoices to the Merchandise Manager for approval and then to the accounting department according to established procedures.
• Accurately track, check-in, invoice and charge staff and member special orders. Communicate appropriately with the customer, Merchandise Manager or necessary personnel relative to each special order.
• Properly receive and date all incoming and outgoing Golf Shop merchandise according to established policies and procedures.
• Properly check in and invoice all golf-related merchandise received prior to its shipment to any other designated Property.
• Maintain records on all RTV’s (return to vendors) and obtain appropriate return authorization (RA’s) and credits from vendors for merchandise returned.
• Accurately code invoices for payment verifying prices, quantities against purchase orders. Accurately mark all merchandise stored in the stock room for temporary, permanent or basic fill use.
• Assist in accurately, neatly, and continually checking inventories in the stock room. Check par levels of all stock room merchandise.
• Assist in the management and administration of stock room and golf shop inventories.
• Assist with inventory variance research.
• Assist in accurately maintaining stockroom inventory to control shrink.
• Train and educate Golf Shop Staff in proper stock room procedures.
• Create and maintain a professional, well managed stock room appearance.
• Assist with all golf-related merchandise relative to annual PGA TOUR related events or group outings.
• Run standard inventory reports to confirm accuracy and existing product levels.

• Special projects or other duties as assigned.

This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, color vision, distance and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
