Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Home Health Aide I (HHA) to provide personal care and support to patients in the comfort of their homes. The HHA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Supervising Therapist and helps patients maintain their safety, comfort, and independence.
What You’ll Do
Assist patients with bathing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and other personal care needs
Assist with lifting, transferring, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
Help maintain a safe and healthy home environment
Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition or living environment
Build positive relationships with patients, families, and care team members
Complete required documentation accurately and on time
Communicate schedule or availability changes to the appropriate team member
Follow agency policies, state scope of practice, and applicable regulations
Complete required annual in-service training
Travel to patients’ homes for scheduled visits
What We’re Looking For
At least 1 year of nurse aide experience in a hospital, nursing home, home care, or private setting under RN supervision
STNA certification or completion of a 75-hour nurse aide training program (CNA)
Successful completion of a skills competency test with a score of 80% or higher
Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to patient care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow directions and work independently
Detail-oriented and observant
Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, transferring, and bathing dependent patients
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance with your name listed as a driver
Education & Credentials
High school diploma or equivalent
Current STNA or CNA credential, as applicable
