We are searching for the best talent for Sr. Statistical Programmer II.

 

Purpose: Serves as an individual contributor who is a developing subject matter expert in the Data Science field. Develops actionable insights for methods and research for the internal Data Science community.  Applies in-depth skills of the field to design and develop industry-leading products. Contributes to scientific projects, programs, and processes of importance to the organization's Data Science function.

 

You will be responsible for:

• Works to achieve operational, functional, and/or business targets with impact on Data Science results.
• Creates, tests, validates, and deploys complex, multi-stage models and/or scaling up of existing models and deep learning techniques.
• Develops experimental and analytic plans to improve modeling accuracy determining cause and effect relationships.
• Derives and communicates insights from complex structured and unstructured sources of data, drawing out connections, links, or insights across various analyses.
• Conducts analysis of third-party data vendors and supports contract negotiations to bring in leading data science tools, methods, and practices.
• Analyzes processes and workflows to make recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborates with analysts and data engineering on data mining architectures, algorithms, and models.
• Coaches and trains junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
• Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision-making.

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

 

• Excellent organizational skill to prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely completion
• Attention to detail and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team
• Excellent communication skills
• Sufficient knowledge in CDISC and SDTM/ADAM for FDA submission compliance
• Adequate knowledge in clinical trial research methodology, ICH, GCP and regulations
• Experiences in medical device and cardiovascular disease is desirable, but not required

• Strong SAS programming skill in producing various types of outputs such as TLFs and datasets
• Extensive statistical programming experience in producing deliverables either on scheduled or adhoc basis
• BS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field, MS in Statistics or Biostatistics is preferred
• Experience with producing outputs submitted to the FDA and other regulatory agencies

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$117,000.00 - $201,250.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
