Title:

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.

Responsible for design, specification and services related to structures and foundations made of concrete, steel, wood, or engineered products for structures, platforms, bridges, pipe racks, buildings, etc. Under general supervision, performs all conventional aspects of the functional area subject matter. Devises new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute Civil & Structural Engineering activities for FEED, Detailed Engineering, Brownfield, and Greenfield projects.

• Review and approve civil and structural engineering deliverables for onshore and offshore facilities.

• Design and review concrete and steel structures, including industrial buildings, pipe racks, equipment foundations, and dynamic foundations.

• Perform and validate structural analysis and foundation design using industry-standard engineering practices.

• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with client specifications, international codes, standards, and KBR procedures.

• Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and global execution centers to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conduct technical reviews and approvals of calculations, drawings, specifications, and engineering documents.

• Support constructability reviews, ensuring designs are practical, efficient, and safe for construction.

• Participate in risk assessments and engineering studies to identify and mitigate project risks.

• Interface with clients, vendors, and third-party stakeholders for technical discussions and issue resolution.

• Ensure adherence to the highest standards of safety, quality, and engineering excellence.

• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.

• Support EPC/EPCM project execution by providing timely engineering solutions and technical expertise.

• Utilize structural engineering software such as STAAD.Pro for analysis and design activities.

• Monitor project schedules and deliverables to ensure engineering milestones are achieved.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, lessons learned, and engineering best practices.

• Provide technical support during procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution phases.

• Manage stakeholder communication and maintain effective coordination across project disciplines.

• Deliver complex international projects while maintaining quality, cost, and schedule objectives.

Qualifications including Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

• Graduate Engineer + master’s degree preferable - Experience (13-15 year) minimum of 7 years related experience.

• 5 Good Communication Skills, Enthusiasm to learn new concepts and Adaptability to relocate to different centers / countries.
