DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Sr. Manager, IBP, Finance Tech, located in Raynham, MA. 

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopedics business to establish a standalone orthopedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Job Overview 

The Sr. Manager, IBP, Finance Tech plays a critical leadership role in enabling Integrated Business Planning (IBP) through finance technology solutions that support strategic decision‑making, financial planning, and operational execution. This role partners closely with Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and business leaders to design, deliver, and continuously improve scalable IBP technology capabilities. The position offers the opportunity to shape how DePuy Synthes leverages data, systems, and analytics to drive performance, transparency, and business agility across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of finance technology solutions supporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP). 

• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Digital/IT teams to align IBP tools with business strategy, planning processes, and financial governance. 

• Oversee system design, configuration, testing, and deployment for IBP‑related finance applications and enhancements. 

• Translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions that improve forecasting accuracy, scenario modeling, and performance management. 

• Ensure data integrity, controls, and compliance across IBP finance systems and reporting outputs. 

• Lead and develop a team of finance technology professionals, providing coaching, prioritization, and performance management. 

• Manage relationships with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure delivery against scope, timeline, and budget. 

• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate IBP finance processes. 

Qualifications 

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 

• MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

Experience and Skills: 

Required: 

• Typically 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, finance technology, or related business systems roles. 

• Demonstrated experience supporting Integrated Business Planning (IBP), financial planning, forecasting, or performance management processes. 

• Strong understanding of finance data, controls, and end‑to‑end planning processes. 

• Experience managing and developing high‑performing teams. 

Preferred: 

• Experience with IBP, ERP, or advanced planning platforms in a large, global organization. 

• Background in medical device, manufacturing, or regulated industries. 

• Strong analytical and change‑management capabilities. 

• Experience working with global or regional planning teams. 

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and technical teams. 

• Proven ability to lead complex, cross‑functional technology initiatives in a matrixed organization. 

Other: 

• Language: English required. 

• Travel: Up to 10–20%, primarily domestic, with occasional international travel. 

• Certifications: Finance, systems, or project management certifications preferred (e.g., CPA, PMP), but not required.
