We are looking for a Senior Director, Global Solution Consulting to join our Library Software Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a global Solution Consulting organization supporting Clarivate’s Academic Library and Public Library markets. The role will partner closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services to shape a best-in-class pre-sales strategy, accelerate growth, and strengthen Clarivate’s position as a trusted technology partner for libraries worldwide.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise software pre-sales, solution consulting, sales engineering, or related customer-facing leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing global pre-sales or solution consulting teams.
• Proven success supporting complex enterprise software sales cycles with multi-stakeholder buying groups and executive-level decision makers.
• Experience presenting technical solutions to executive audiences and translating technical capabilities into business value.
• Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through effective pre-sales leadership.
• Experience partnering closely with Sales leadership on opportunity strategy, competitive positioning, and account planning.
• Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have . . .

• Experience in library technology, higher education technology, public sector software, SaaS, information services, or enterprise platforms.
• Experience supporting both academic institutions and public sector organizations.
• Global market experience supporting customers across North America, EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
• Knowledge of modern solution selling methodologies such as MEDDICC, Challenger, Value Selling, or similar frameworks.
• Experience leading organizational transformation initiatives within pre-sales organizations.
• Familiarity with AI, analytics, cloud platforms, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives.

What Will You Be Doing in This Role?

• Lead the global Solution Consulting strategy and team supporting Clarivate’s Library Software solutions.
• Partner with Sales leadership on strategic opportunities, customer engagement, competitive positioning, and revenue growth.
• Strengthen solution selling capabilities by improving discovery, demonstrations, value messaging, and executive-level presentations.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services to represent customer needs and market insights.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing global team while driving consistent processes, enablement, and operational excellence.

About the Team

The Global Solution Consulting team serves as the technical and strategic bridge between customer needs and Clarivate’s Library Software solutions. Working in partnership with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Professional Services, the team helps libraries modernize operations, improve user experiences, embrace digital transformation, and realize measurable business outcomes.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours in your time zone, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.

Compensation – US Only

The expected base salary for this position is $175,000 - $196,200 USD per year. This role is eligible for incentive or bonus earnings. Individual pay is based upon experience, education, skill and ability, expertise, and relevant factors.
