As a member of the Global Compensation & Benefits COE, the C&B Consultant will play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs supporting Asia Pacific. The C&B Consultant will partner with HR, business leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure KLA's Total Rewards programs remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with business and talent objectives.
A successful candidate will be an advisor, technical expert, and strategic business partner with demonstrated experience identifying business needs, providing recommendations, and delivering practical compensation and benefits solutions. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic. Critical skills for this role are analytical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and adaptive communication.
Position Overview:
- Know, understand, incorporate, and demonstrate KLA's Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
- Partner with HR leadership, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to develop effective compensation and benefits solutions.
- Conduct analysis and provide recommendations to support the design and delivery of compensation and benefits programs, policies, and practices.
- Perform market pricing, job evaluation, and compensation benchmarking to support talent attraction, retention, and internal equity.
- Support annual compensation processes, including merit, bonus, and other compensation review programs.
- Review and analyze benefit plan design, market competitiveness, and program effectiveness in alignment with KLA's global benefits strategy.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory developments and support compliance reviews of compensation and benefits programs.
- Participate in compensation and benefits surveys and leverage market data to support informed business decisions.
- Develop analyses, presentations, and recommendations for HR and business leaders.
- Support regional and global compensation and benefits initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and process improvements.
- Educate and advise HR partners and management on compensation and benefits programs, policies, and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in compensation, benefits, and Total Rewards programs. Global experience is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience conducting compensation benchmarking, market analysis, and benefits reviews.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and geographies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, recognize trends, and identify practical solutions to business challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and execution.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset and maintains current knowledge of HR and industry trends.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
- Experience with HRIS systems, including Workday, is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
