 This position reports directly to the Finance Controller of Moog Japan and is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely execution of day-to-day accounting operations in compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies. As a Senior Accountant, this role is responsible for overseeing and coordinating overall accounting activities, ensuring the smooth operation of the accounting function, driving continuous process improvements, and maintaining and strengthening internal controls.

• Oversee and support all Accounts Payable (AP) activities, including invoice processing through SAP VIM (Validation & Coding), vendor master maintenance, overseas payments, and netting transactions.
• Oversee and support all Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including cash application, customer invoicing, and the issuance of Debit Notes and Credit Memos.
• Manage Intercompany Reconciliations and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor and review bank transactions and cash-related activities through SAP FEBAN.
• Review sales-related documentation and ensure compliance through three-way matching controls.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including account analysis and preparation of Trial Balance (TB) review schedules.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and related accounting transactions.
• Preparation of withholding tax calculations and tax payments.
• Coordinate with tax advisors and auditors to support tax filings, manage schedules, and ensure submission of required documentation.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies while maintaining and enhancing internal controls.
• Drive process improvement initiatives, standardization efforts, and accounting operational efficiencies.
• Lead or support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes, including variance analysis and management reporting.
• Support the Finance Controller and management team by preparing financial analyses, management reports, and ad hoc reporting, and by providing insights to support business decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.

• 買掛金業務（AP）全般の管理・実務支援（SAP VIMを用いた請求書処理、ベンダーマスター管理、海外送金、ネッティング取引等を含む）
• 売掛金業務（AR）全般の管理・実務支援（入金消込、顧客向け請求書発行、Debit NoteおよびCredit Memoの発行を含む）
• 関係会社間取引（Intercompany Reconciliation）の管理および関連部門との調整
• SAP FEBANを使用した銀行取引および資金関連取引のモニタリング・レビュー
• 売上関連書類のレビューおよび3点照合（Three-way Matching）による内部統制の確保
• 月次・四半期・年次決算業務を主導し、勘定科目分析および試算表（TB）レビュー資料を作成
• 固定資産管理業務全般（資産計上、減価償却計算および関連会計処理を含む）
• 源泉所得税計算書の作成ならびに納付手続き
• 税理士および会計士との連携による税務申告業務の支援、スケジュール管理、および必要書類の提出
• 内部監査および外部監査への対応ならびに必要資料の準備
• 会計基準および社内規程への準拠を確保し、内部統制の維持・改善を推進
• 経理業務の効率化、標準化およびプロセス改善活動の推進
• 年次予算策定およびローリングフォーキャスト業務をリードまたは支援し、予実分析および経営報告資料を作成
• 財務分析、経営レポートおよび各種アドホックレポートを作成し、ファイナンス・コントローラーおよび経営陣の意思決定や業績改善施策を支援
