In this role, you have the opportunity to
Learn from United States launch experience, anticipate launch challenges in Europe, prepare launch plan for Europe including LMR site selection and preparation, and execute that launch plan post CE mark.
The role will lead KOL engagement plan across Europe's markets by developing innovative business models and strategic partnerships tailored to local customer needs. Drive organizational capability building (upskilling) in partnership with Marketing and MedEd initiatives, champion the translation and dissemination of clinical evidence into compelling value-based propositions, cultivate and execute strategic engagement plans with KOLs, and provide actionable competitive market intelligence to inform business decisions and accelerate growth.

Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Business Development: Drive the preparation of SpectraWave launch in Europe, accounts targeting, learning from US, execution of the SW commercial strategy across Europe and in alignment with IGTD, IGTS and DSS groups, identify and get ready to scale innovative business models and partnerships that address local market needs and accelerate business growth.
Clinical Evidence & Value-Based Healthcare: Bridge clinical evidence generation and dissemination, translating data into impactful value-based customer propositions that support launch, adoption and clinical practice change.
Capability Building & Medical Education: Partner with Medical Education and Global team to strengthen the capabilities of the SW organization through targeted upskilling initiatives, knowledge transfer, and best-practice sharing.
KOL Engagement & Advocacy: Develop and execute strategic engagement pre-launch for top KOLs across Europe, leveraging senior leadership involvement where appropriate to build advocacy, strengthen partnerships, and advance clinical and commercial objectives.
Competitive Intelligence & Market Insights: Lead ongoing analysis of the competitive landscape, emerging market trends, and industry dynamics, providing actionable insights that inform marketing, strategic planning, portfolio positioning, and commercial execution.
Priorities Year 1 include:
EU customer segmentation and individual top KOL engagement plan pre-launch
OneIGT approach. Be an integral part of the IGTD EU Leadership Team with strong collaborative mechanisms with IGTS
Launch excellence – all deliverables achieved
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Minimum 5 years business development experience within Medical Devices, ideally within Coronary.
Minimum 5 years People Leadership experience
Proven record of Business and financial acumen
Strong Analytical skills
Proven record of impactful communication/ value proposition skills
Compensation & benefits
Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base annual salary gross range for this role is € 77.675 - € 119.500. We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
This role is eligible for annual incentive, with your rewards linked to KPIs. We'll share the full approach with you during the interview process, so you can make a clear, informed decision.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 2 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is an office role.
