Schomp Automotive is looking for a talented, creative, and highly organized Visual Content Creator to join our marketing team and help bring our brands, dealerships, vehicles, people, and community to life through compelling visual content.

We’re looking for someone who can capture a great vehicle shot, but also understands how to tell a story, create content that stops the scroll, and adapt visual content for different platforms and audiences.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES

Photography & Video

• Photograph compelling vehicle inventory for website, advertising, and marketing purposes.
• Photograph & edit weekly new hire headshots for the websites.
• Capture high-quality lifestyle, product, dealership, employee, customer, and event photography.
• Produce short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
• Create both planned and spontaneous content that showcases the personality of each dealership and its brands.
• Capture behind-the-scenes, community, employee, and dealership culture content.
• Assist with video shoots, interviews, walkarounds, vehicle features, promotional campaigns, and special events.
• Travel between Schomp dealerships throughout Colorado to capture content as needed.

Social Media Content

• Work closely with the marketing team to develop a steady pipeline of fresh photo and video content for multiple dealership social media accounts.
• Help create and capture content for weekly social media posts and campaigns.
• Develop content that feels authentic, engaging, and appropriate for each dealership's individual brand.
• Stay current on social media trends, formats, sounds, and visual styles—and identify opportunities to put relevant trends to work for our brands.
• Shoot content with social-first formats in mind, including vertical video and short-form storytelling.

Marketing & Creative Support

• Provide photography and video assets for website updates, digital advertising, email marketing, print materials, dealership signage, and other marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with graphic designers, marketing managers, dealership leadership, and agency partners to fulfill creative requests.
• Organize, edit, and maintain a library of photography and video assets.
• Ensure content is delivered on schedule and in the appropriate formats and sizes for each platform.
• Help develop creative concepts and contribute ideas for campaigns and dealership marketing initiatives.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associate's degree required; four-year degree preferred
• 2+ years of professional photography and/or videography experience preferred, with an emphasis in social media and digital. 
• A strong portfolio demonstrating both photography and video work.
• Experience shooting automotive, lifestyle, commercial, social media, or branded content is a plus.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, framing, and visual storytelling.
• Comfortable shooting both photo and video, including handheld and stabilized video.
• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite with the ability to learn new software. Strong understanding of social media platforms and short-form video content.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with a larger marketing team.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Most importantly, a creative eye, positive attitude, and willingness to try new things.

Actual compensation will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance.
