We are seeking a Special Collections Coordinator II for our Charlotte, NC Office located at: 13500 South Point Blvd, Ste L., Charlotte, NC 28273
Shift Information: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday - This is an onsite position and the staff will report into the office.
Hourly rate: $19.62 an hour + Shift Differential (+$1.75 after 3pm, +$2.75 on weekends)
Skills & Abilities
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when needed.
Basic to intermediate computer/PC skills required, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to confidently and professionally communicate with patients and donors preparing for upcoming surgeries, physician office personnel, physicians, and other healthcare professionals while effectively managing time-sensitive and complex situations.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient and donor information appropriately.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Scope
Full knowledge of job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job. Contact within department and occasionally outside of organization.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. RN/LPN, medical assistant training, or equivalent healthcare experience preferred. Current state licensure required, as applicable.
**Bilingual is helpful**
*Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).
Physical Requirements
Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer, applicable software, and office equipment for sustained periods of time. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle, and working under challenging conditions.
