About Toll Aviation
Toll Aviation, part of the Toll Group, is one of Australia’s leading providers of specialised helicopter services. As our operations continue to grow, we’re expanding our engineering team and looking for a skilled and motivated AW139 / Bell 429 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our future operations in South Australia.
About the Role
As part of our maintenance team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance activities on our AW139 and Bell 429 fleet. You’ll bring strong technical skills, a proactive approach, and experience working on medium helicopters.
What you’ll be doing:
· Planning and preparing for maintenance tasks, ensuring all parts, GSE, tooling, manpower, and documentation are available before work begins.
· Performing scheduled maintenance on assigned aircraft to maximise availability.
· Coordinating, supervising, and conducting troubleshooting and rectification for unscheduled maintenance needs.
· Supporting aircraft ranging, husbandry, and recovery activities.
· Preparing fly-away kits and conducting maintenance during deployments.
· Maintaining a safe workspace and consistently applying safe work practices.
What we’re looking for
Essential:
· Completed mechanical/avionics trade qualifications.
· CASA Part 66 B1.3 / B2 licence with AW139 and/or Bell 429 type rating.
· MEA40715 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) / MEA40618 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent.
· Strong experience on AW139, Bell 429 or other medium helicopters.
· High level of trade aptitude.
Highly desirable:
· Extensive industry experience.
· Experience in general aircraft maintenance practices.
· Strong understanding of Civil Aviation Regulations.
· Self-motivated with a flexible, team-focused attitude.
· Eligible for an NV1 Security Clearance.
· Willingness to support all aspects of base engineering.
· MEA41322 – Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Structures).
