Job Purpose:
Working closely with the Company's Sales Team, the Presales Consultant will be responsible for providing technical pre-sales support for the HPE portfolio.
The role will support sales engagements by conducting solution discovery, qualification discussions, solution design, technical presentations, product demonstrations, Proof of Concept (POC), and technical consultations for customers and business partners. The Presales Consultant will also work closely with HPE and related ecosystem vendors to position end-to-end infrastructure solutions that address customer business and technology requirements.
Responsibilities:
Assist Account/Product Managers with qualification of opportunities by providing presales technical support.
Provides pre-sales technical support and deliver deep dive product demonstrations to customers and business partners.
Delivers training to partners on products solution.
Contribute to and refine technical RFP/RFI responses
Customer demonstrations and presentations
Coordinating and managing technical validation events (POC)
Coordinating and managing POC assets
Participating in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested
Recommend and influence market content.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
4+ years of experience in Presales, System Engineering, Solution Consulting, or Technical Consultant roles.
Good understanding of enterprise infrastructure technologies,
Experience with HPE, Dell Technologies, Lenovo, Cisco, or other enterprise infrastructure vendors is highly preferred.
Experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, POC execution, and infrastructure sizing is an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to enterprise IT infrastructure.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer-facing skills.
Ability to explain complex technologies in a clear and business-oriented manner
Ability to work effectively with vendors, partners, sales teams, and technical stakeholders.
Comfortable presenting to technical teams as well as business decision-makers.
Experience working with enterprise customers, system integrators, distributors, or technology vendor
Relevant vendor certifications (HPE, Aruba, VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Cisco, etc.) will be an advantage.
