Your day at NTT DATA
This role serves as the trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable, integrated, and future-ready SAP solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards and SAP best practices.
The Solution Architect will drive solution design, architecture governance, and delivery excellence for SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration across financial, real estate, maintenance, and project management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead the end-to-end solution architecture and design for SAP FICO, RE-FX, PM, and PS.
- Develop solution blueprints, architecture roadmaps, and target-state business process designs.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and solution workshops with business stakeholders.
- Ensure SAP solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and business objectives.
- Review and approve functional specifications, technical designs, and integration requirements.
- Evaluate new SAP technologies and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
Financial Management (FICO)
- Architect solutions for General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
- Design financial planning, budgeting, month-end closing, and reporting solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting and regulatory requirements.
- Support SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation initiatives.
Real Estate Management (RE-FX)
- Design and implement solutions for lease administration, contract management, property management, rent calculations, and real estate accounting.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS 16 and lease accounting requirements.
- Integrate RE-FX processes with Finance and Asset Accounting.
Project Delivery & Governance
- Provide architectural leadership throughout project lifecycles.
- Participate in estimation, project planning, risk assessment, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Establish architecture governance and ensure compliance with SAP best practices.
- Mentor consultants and project teams on solution design and implementation approaches.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage business leaders, project sponsors, and process owners to understand strategic business needs.
- Present solution recommendations and architecture decisions to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Success Metrics
- Successful delivery of SAP projects within scope, budget, and timeline.
- High stakeholder satisfaction and business value realization.
- Compliance with architecture and governance standards.
- Improved financial visibility, project cost control, and asset management performance.
- Adoption of SAP best practices and S/4HANA capabilities.
- Reduced solution defects and post-go-live issues.
