The position is for a Solution architect for Japan.
Pre-Sales Solution Architect for Japan
The role is aimed at experienced pre-sales Solution Architect with deep understanding of designing, overseeing, and governing technical solutions for customers . The role involves converting business requirements into scalable, secure, and flexible architectures that align with NCR’s platform-led SaaS offerings. The person should be able to engage with our customers in order to drive impactful change, define the transformation of their front-end systems and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
The role is part of the regional Pre-Sales team focused on NCR Voyix’s next-generation platform strategy, implementing global best practices, capabilities and standards, and leveraging them across key customer engagements in the region. The primary mission of this position is driving increased platform adoption, returning revenue growth and increase in customer satisfaction.
The role requires proven experience in customer-facing roles with 10 years enterprise architectures and exceptional customer-focus and bias for action.
Key Areas of Responsibility include:
- Technical Leadership- Provide technology leadership and consultation to customers and internal teams.
- Solution Design & Architecture - Define solution, integration, and technical architecture directions for customer implementation programs. Applying software architecture best practices for system design
- Collaboration- Work closely with globally spread product, engineering teams , and Japan sales teams.
- Customer Engagement – Lead customer presentations and jointly define , create use cases for customer journeys including application development and integration of different applications as needed
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Education- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience - 5+ years of experience in enterprise architectures and customer-facing roles
- Technical Expertise-
- Strong background in enterprise architecture, integration patterns, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with SaaS and cloud services.
- Others – Fluency in both Japanese and English . Good oral, written communication and presentation skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Exposure to emerging computing trends and enterprise design principles , with certifications like TOGAF would be nice to have .
- Public Cloud certifications on AWS,GCP,Azure or K8s to prove proficiency in cloud native technologies .
- Adaptable to change in a fast moving environment

本ポジションは、高度な経験を持つプリセールス ソリューションアーキテクトを対象としており、顧客向け技術ソリューションの設計、統括、ガバナンスに関する深い知見が求められます。
顧客のビジネス要件を、NCRのプラットフォーム主導型SaaSソリューションに適合した、拡張性・セキュリティ・柔軟性の高いアーキテクチャへと落とし込むことが主な役割です。
また、顧客との直接的なエンゲージメントを通じて、フロントエンドシステムの変革を定義し、卓越したカスタマーエクスペリエンスの実現を推進していただきます。
本ポジションは、NCR Voyixの次世代プラットフォーム戦略を推進するリージョナル・プリセールスチームの一員として、グローバルのベストプラクティス、機能、標準を日本市場の主要顧客への提案・導入に活用します。
本ポジションの主なミッションは、プラットフォーム導入の拡大、収益成長の回復、顧客満足度の向上です。
本ポジションには、顧客対応業務の実績および5年以上のエンタープライズアーキテクチャ経験が求められ、優れた顧客志向と高い実行力が必要です。
主な業務内容
テクニカルリーダーシップ
顧客および社内チームに対して、技術的なリーダーシップおよびコンサルテーションを提供するソリューション設計・アーキテクチャ
顧客導入プログラムにおけるソリューション、統合、技術アーキテクチャの方向性を定義し、ソフトウェアアーキテクチャのベストプラクティスを適用するコラボレーション
グローバルに分散したプロダクトチーム、エンジニアリングチーム、および日本の営業チームと密に連携する顧客エンゲージメント
顧客向けプレゼンテーションを主導し、アプリケーション開発や複数アプリケーションの統合を含むカスタマージャーニーのユースケースを共同で定義・設計する
必須要件（BASIC QUALIFICATIONS）
学歴
技術系分野の学士号、または同等の実務経験経験
エンタープライズアーキテクチャおよび顧客対応業務における5年以上の経験技術スキル
- エンタープライズアーキテクチャ、インテグレーションパターン、クラウド技術に関する深い知識
- SaaSおよびクラウドサービスの実務経験
その他
- 日本語・英語双方での流暢なコミュニケーション能力
- 優れた口頭・文書作成・プレゼンテーションスキル
