Role : Lead Software Engineer (Java, FullStack, AWS Cloud Developer)

Qualification & Experience:  

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or  relevant field with 6-8 years in IT with minimum 3 years hands-on experience on AWS Cloud platform. 

• Knowledge in Java(including authentication & authorisation) is must & good to have knowledge  on Python,OOPS and other programming concepts 

• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs is mandatory 

• Knowledge in Java, microservices,  Angular and/or React  is must & good to have knowledge on scripting

• Experience in creating highly scalable and secure components 

• Experience is implementing  authentication & authorisation in backend (SAML & SSO) 

• Experience in database design (MS SQL/Postgres)

• Experience with the core AWS Services( EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, API Gateway, Cloud Watch)

• Experience working with linux systems 

• Good to have experience with Openshift 

• Experience with Palantir services like Slate, Workshop is a big plus 

• Background in code modernization, optimisation is added value 

• Knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or CDK  

• Past experience with the Microservices Architecture and Serverless approaches

• Strong notions of security best practices (e.g. using IAM Roles, KMS, etc.)  

• Previous exposure to large-scale systems design; building or maintaining enterprise grade on prem/cloud  applications.  

• Working experience in Agile Scrum, SAFe and/or Kanban projects  

• DevOps orientation, knowledge of continuous integration frameworks and some of the following  products/tools: Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, VersionOne, etc. (Good to have) 

• Knowledge of working with ITSM tools like Service Now for change management, Incident management etc

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and clearly understanding their pain points 

• Sense of detail and passion for software and technologies that solve problems

• Ability to challenge the needs of the clients and provide appropriate solutions

• Curiosity & team player attitude, with a wish to evolve with your team 

Responsibilities:  

1. Lead team responsible for application development and maintenance and/or works as Individual contributor to projects

2. Lead team infra deployment and maintenance in cloud  and on prem

3. Lead and support problem solving and the operational availability of the applications

4. Own incidents, problems, changes related to applications

5. Lead small and self-sufficient multi-disciplinary teams responsible for end to end product  development  

6. Developing, updating and use CI/CD pipeline to allow fully automated deployments of applications

across all environments from Development, Q&A and Production 

7. Align with Product/System Architect to understand and deliver on required standards including architecture documents as per Airbus Standard
