Software Engineer Digital Claims Channel, Assurant, GCC-India

​​As part of a European Scrum team dedicated to onboarding new clients at Assurant Europe region on GSSP solution, the Software Engineer will report into our Application Delivery team. He/She will be involved with the full end to end process of onboarding new clients to our customer facing digital claims channel. The role includes the analysis of requirements, cloning of existing sites, updating site content & configuration, defect triage, testing, and releases.

This position will be in Bengaluru & Hyderabad at our India location.

Working Hours: 11:30 AM IST to 8:30 PM IST

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

• Analyze requirements and design solutions for approved projects and change requests of moderate to high complexity.
• Configure, develop and debug a customized and complex application
• Investigate defects, trace execution, understand existing code, and solve problems
• Work with a wide range of business and IT stakeholders in regions across the globe.
• Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality goals.
• Implement Solutions.
• Provide System Support.
• Maintain knowledge of the business operations and goals of Assurant.
• Support and inform multiple project teams to achieve project goals.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

• Strong ASP.NET (8- 10 version)
• Basic knowledge in Angular (20-22 version)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, MVC, Web Forms
• Proficiency in software engineering tools (e.g. ADO, TFS, GIT, SNOW ..)
• Sitefinity or other Content Management System experience is a nice to have
