At We Are Social, we are looking for a Social Content Manager with proven experience designing and executing social media strategies across both organic and paid channels.

What you'll be doing in this role:

• Conceptualizing and planning the content calendar (approach, copywriting, formats, and narratives), working hand-in-hand with the Art & Design team to bring creative assets to life.
• Publishing, actively monitoring, and community building: engaging with audiences and responding consistently with each project’s brand voice.
• Daily, close client communication: receiving briefs, presenting proposals, running regular status meetings, and managing end-to-end deliverable tracking.
• Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to capture real-time content (mobile photography, fast-turnaround video, and micro-interviews).
• Proactively identifying emerging trends, new platforms, innovative formats, and key opinion leaders to elevate brand presence.
• Partnering closely with the Research & Insights team on monthly reports, providing qualitative performance analysis, key takeaways, and actionable recommendations (formats, themes, posting cadence, and workflows).

Requirements

What are we looking for?

• 3-4 years of experience in similar roles.
• Proven proficiency with social media management and listening platforms (Emplifi, Sprinklr, or equivalent).
• Ability to capture high-quality audiovisual content via mobile during lives, with strong hands-on skills in quick photo/video editing for simple formats and adjustments (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or mobile editing apps).
• Solid knowledge in project management tools such as Asana, Basecamp, or similar.
• Good command of Google Workspace.
• Interest and experience using AI tools to streamline workflows, optimize project management, or support visual asset creation.
• High level of English (written and spoken).
• Available for occasional travel throughout Spain and Europe, with flexible schedules due to on-site events assistance. 

We also value:

• Previous experience in digital agencies or creative environments.
• Experience working in international environments, managing accounts with distributed teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Prior experience in technical or B2B industries (automotive, commercial vehicles, construction machinery, transportation, or industrial sectors).
• Notions of German language, would be a plus.
