Position Summary:

Our Utility Crew is responsible for cleaning the interior of the Sky House lodge, including restrooms, and shovel the exterior and maintain clear pathways for guests and staff.

The typical shift is 8am-4pm, with the ability to leave earlier, after tasks are completed. Must have open availability during weekends and holidays.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect Sky House restrooms.
• Shovel or use a snowblower to remove snow from lodge entrances and emergency exits, may use ice pick to break up large ice patches. Expected to do minor maintenance on the snowblower including replacing sheer pins.
• Bus tables and clear dining rooms of garbage.
• Empty trash cans both inside and outside of the lodge and help separate recycling materials.
• Clean interior of lodge including vacuuming, cleaning windows, dusting, sweeping and mopping.
• Must have knowledge of custodial cleaning supplies and how to safely use them.
• Will also perform other duties as assigned including helping the bar, stocking, and assisting servers. 

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications- Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate is preferred, we will help you acquire.  

Technical- Basic computer knowledge and comfortable with a computer based point of sale (Squirrel is our current system).

Physical Capabilities- Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.  Will lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally. Ability to ski or snowboard at an intermediate level is preferred. Exposed to ice, snow and cold temperatures.

Additional- Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously. Exposed to cleaning chemicals and Bloodborne pathogens.

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required- English reading, writing and communication; basic math
