About the Opportunity

An exciting leadership opportunity has become available for an experienced Service Operations Manager to lead our Brisbane Chiller Services team.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the day-to-day service delivery operations, leading a team of highly skilled technicians, apprentices, and a Service Delivery Manager. You'll play a key role in driving operational excellence, developing talent, strengthening customer relationships, and growing our service and maintenance portfolio across Queensland.

This position is ideal for a proven HVAC or Chiller industry leader who enjoys being close to the business, supporting their teams in the field, and delivering outstanding outcomes for customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing service team to achieve operational and financial objectives.

• Drive operational excellence across the Chiller Service business.

• Manage service delivery performance, maintenance schedules, contract execution, and budget outcomes.

• Review customer accounts to identify opportunities for growth, profitability, and enhanced service delivery.

• Oversee backlog management, estimating activities, contract renewals, and onboarding processes.

• Manage workforce planning, technician utilisation, labour forecasting, and materials allocation.

• Support the ongoing development of technicians through coaching, mentoring, training, and performance management.

• Lead recruitment and onboarding initiatives to build a strong and capable team.

• Partner directly with customers and attend site visits to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated leadership experience within the HVAC, Refrigeration, or Chiller industry.

• Strong technical understanding of Chiller systems, with Controls experience highly regarded.

• Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and deliver operational results.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong commercial acumen, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.

• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer outcomes.
