1. Content Development and Execution 

• Own content process end to end - from brief through drafting, SME review, editing, optimization, and publishing 

• Write and edit website copy, articles, landing pages, campaign content, nurture content, and other marketing materials 

• Work with subject matter experts to translate complex ideas into clear, useful, audience-friendly content 

2. Thought Leadership Content Support 

• Support the ongoing development of Beghou’s broader thought-leadership content, working closely with internal SMEs and Marketing stakeholders 

• Help translate SME input, research, interviews, presentations, and other source material into strong content drafts 

• Support development and refinement of articles, reports, perspectives, and other thought-leadership formats 

3. SEO Integration Across Content 

• Ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into new content from the outset 

• Translate agreed keyword, topic, and search-intent recommendations into effective content briefs and drafts 

• Optimize titles, headings, metadata, page copy, internal linking, URLs, and content structure where appropriate 

• Align content with relevant keywords and search intent without compromising readability or subject matter quality 

• Help ensure SEO principles are consistently reflected across articles, landing pages, thought leadership, campaigns, and other digital content 

• Understand how Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI-led search, and evolving discovery behaviors are changing how audiences find and consume content, and reflect relevant practices in content development 

4. Content Performance and Optimization 

• Use insights provided by SEO and measurement partners to understand how content is performing 

• Translate performance findings into practical content actions such as refreshing, expanding, restructuring, or consolidating content 

5. AI-Enabled SEO Workflows 

• Explore practical ways to embed AI more deeply into SEO, GEO, and content discovery workflows, including research, content briefing, optimization, content refreshes, and QA 

• Stay informed on how AI-driven and answer-based search is changing content discovery and incorporate relevant learnings into our SEO and content approach 

6. Content Governance and Continuous Improvement 

• Help establish practical SEO and content guidelines, templates, and checklists for the broader Marketing team 

• Maintain visibility into priority content deliverables and ensure drafts and updates progress against agreed timelines 

• 3–5 years of experience in SEO content, content marketing, digital content, or a related role 

• Prior experience working in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or a related healthcare environment preferred 

• Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, search intent, content optimization, and internal linking 

• Familiarity with GEO, AI-led search, answer-based search, and emerging approaches to content discovery 

• Demonstrated experience writing and editing high-quality digital content 

• Experience supporting thought-leadership or subject matter expert-led content is preferred 

• Experience developing content for solution or product marketing, campaigns, nurture programs, and landing pages is preferred 

• Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail 

• Ability to simplify complex subjects and work effectively with subject matter experts 

• Experience using SEO and content tools; familiarity with platforms such as SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4, HubSpot, or similar tools is helpful 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including working with global stakeholders 

• Ability to manage multiple content pieces and stakeholders simultaneously and maintain delivery timelines 

• Comfortable taking ownership and working effectively in an evolving environment 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field 

• Postgraduate qualification or MBA preferred, but not required
