Who is SkyBox Labs?
Recognized as one of BC's Top Employers (2025), SkyBox Labs is a game development studio that works on some of the world’s most iconic games. The studio is currently working on projects in the Minecraft universe, supporting the dev team at Bungie on Destiny 2, supporting development of Fallout 76, in addition to work on unannounced IP. Are you the type of artist who looks at a blank canvas and sees endless possibilities rather than a roadblock? SkyBox Labs is looking for a Senior UI Artist to help define the visual identity of an exciting, unannounced new AAA project that we are co-developing alongside a globally recognized partner. In this role, you won’t just be inheriting an established style guide and churning out icons—you’ll be in the driver’s seat of visual exploration, pitching bold new concepts, and establishing the look, feel, and graphical language of our in-game interface from the ground up.
If you thrive on ambiguity, love generating a multitude of visual directions, and take pride in crafting high-impact UI that elevates the entire player experience, we want to hear from you.
This team works in a hybrid capacity, working three days a week at our studio in Burnaby, BC.

The base salary range for this position is $102,000 to $141,000. The stated pay scale reflects the range that SkyBox Labs reasonably expects to pay for this position. Your base salary and level will be determined by various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, skills, experience, and demonstrated competencies.
