Senior Technical Specialist

We are looking for a hardworking, intellectually curious individual to play the role of Senior Technical Specialist to design and implement innovative tech solutions for complex business problems.

Role Summary:

• Key Accountabilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative tech solutions for complex business problems.  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality products.

• Success Factors: Demonstrated expertise in software engineering, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive innovation and excellence.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design and development of software solutions.

• Write, test, and maintain high-quality code in programming languages.

• Implement best practices for coding, testing, and deployment to ensure robust and scalable software systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of high-quality products.

• Drive innovation and excellence in software engineering practices.

• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of software systems.

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Technical Skills – Required:

• Required languages: 8+ years of experience in Java, Python, PySpark Oracle SQL and PL/SQL

• Ab Initio: Practical experience using Ab Initio software for data processing

• Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.

• Ability to understand complex technical issues quickly and assess the impact of change

• Knowledge of financial markets

• Familiarity with agile development practices.

• Experience in ETL and data analysis is a strong plus

• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Terraform.

Soft Skills – Required:

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement.
