Be a part of Global Supply Planning team located in Vietnam Manufacturing site, the Senior Tactical Supply Planning position is among the pioneers shaping a newly established supply planning hub in Vietnam. In this role, you will collaborate closely with global stakeholders to drive efficient supply allocation, optimize production capacity, and ensure seamless product availability worldwide.
We are currently looking for two Senior Tactical Supply Planners, each with a dedicated planning focus:
- Components Planning: ensure timely availability of materials and components to support manufacturing requirements while optimizing inventory, supplier responsiveness, and supply continuity.
- External Manufacturing Planning: manage Finished Goods supply plans for externally manufactured products, balancing demand fulfillment, production capacity, supplier performance, and inventory targets across the network.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and optimize tactical supply plans (3–9 months horizon) to ensure product availability across RDCs, balancing inventory costs, capacity utilization and working capital.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Controlling, and Production Network teams to align supply forecasts, manage risks and opportunities, and ensure consensus handovers to assigned manufacturer(s).
- Monitor and rebalance inventory across RDCs to maintain service levels, minimize rebalancing costs, and proactively adjust stock levels based on demand shifts and supply risks.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, interface transitions between tactical and strategic horizons, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives and service enhancements.
For Components Planning:
- Manage material supply execution by overseeing component purchase orders, ensuring feasible supply flows from suppliers, and securing material availability to support production plans.
- Monitor material inventory, supplier capacity, and inbound risks, proactively mitigating shortages and ensuring continuity of supply for manufacturing operations.
For External Manufacturing Planning:
- Manage supply execution for assigned external manufacturing partners, ensuring production plans, order fulfillment, and finished goods availability are aligned with business priorities.
- Optimize manufacturer loading, monitor supplier performance and capacity constraints, and collaborate with external partners to mitigate supply risks and achieve service targets.
Bring your magic
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
- Education background in Supply Chain, Business Administration or relevant majors.
- Ideally 6+ years in Supply Planning, Material Planning, Production Planning, or related Supply Chain functions within a complex supply chain operations.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including inventory management, capacity planning, supplier collaboration, and demand-supply balancing.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to manage risks, resolve supply challenges, and drive business outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, with a growth mindset, agility, and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
