Senior Systems Engineer
Location: This is a Hybrid role. Whiteley, Hampshire
Clearance Required: This role will require attainment and maintenance of SC clearance

We are looking for Systems Engineers to join our growing team and support the delivery of critical programmes that will help shape the future of UK Air Traffic Management.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll contribute to systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, partnering with stakeholders, users, suppliers, and architects to define requirements, develop solutions, and deliver high-quality engineering outputs.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver systems engineering activities across complex programmes.
Define and manage system requirements with stakeholders and suppliers.
Develop models, designs, and architecture artefacts using MBSE approaches.
Support compliance activities, technical reviews, and project milestones.
Produce engineering documentation, designs, and technical analyses.
Conduct trade studies and solution evaluations.
Contribute to the development of integrated solutions using COTS and bespoke technologies.

Knowledge of systems engineering within complex environments.
Experience with architecture modelling tools and frameworks such as SysML, TOGAF, MODAF, ArchiMate, Cameo, or similar.
Ability to develop requirements, system models, and design artefacts.
Strong collaboration skills, working across multidisciplinary teams.
Experience assessing technical solutions and supporting design decisions.
Understanding of service-oriented, virtualised, or cloud-based environments.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range:
£61,500.00-£78,800.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
