Responsibilities*
- Administer and maintain VMware vSphere environments (vCenter, ESXi hosts, clusters, HA/DRS/vMotion, datastores, and VMs), including performance and capacity monitoring.
- Manage enterprise SAN storage and Fibre Channel connectivity, including LUN provisioning, host mappings, zoning, multipathing, and storage troubleshooting.
- Administer backup and recovery infrastructure, including Veeam Backup & Replication, HPE StoreOnce, and HPE MSL tape libraries; perform backup verification, restores, offsite procedures, and disaster recovery testing.
- Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, domain controllers, and Windows Server Failover Clustering.
- Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux and other Linux servers, including services, networking, storage, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance using SolarWinds and Veeam ONE; investigate alerts and production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
- Perform server provisioning, patching, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning across production, UAT, development, and DR environments.
- Maintain infrastructure security in line with company policies and least-privilege principles, and support server and endpoint security solutions.
- Follow change management procedures, maintain technical documentation and infrastructure inventory, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors on incidents and technology refresh projects.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, including user onboarding/offboarding, licensing, mailbox management, and security settings.
- Manage Duo multi-factor authentication for users, including enrollment, policy configuration, and access troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
- Years of Experience: 3
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments, including Active Directory (AD DS), DNS, DHCP, NTP, Group Policy, and LDAP.
- Solid experience with physical servers, hardware, and storage systems (SAN/NAS), including RAID, firmware updates, and basic data center operations.
- Proven experience managing backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam, including backup and restore of files, databases, and virtual machines.
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 , Cisco Duo, and Google Workspace (user and license management, mail, and security policies).
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms, primarily VMware vSphere/ESXi (VM provisioning, snapshots, vCenter management).
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPN) and basic Linux administration.
- Language Proficiency: (Arabic, English)
