This position is based and stationed in Gujarat, India.

The Senior Supply Chain Planner leads and oversees end-to-end supply chain operations to support customer requirements, ensure service excellence, and drive operational performance across the region. The role ensures strong customer intimacy through meeting SLAs, managing escalations, securing material availability, and enabling on-time, in-full delivery. This position is also responsible for executing cost reduction initiatives aligned with TAP targets, ensuring full compliance with safety, security, trade, and customs regulations, and leading the regional supply chain organization. The role requires strong collaboration with Customer Support counterparts, account managers, and central headquarters teams to deliver consistent regional performance while developing local capabilities and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Intimacy & Service Excellence

• Ensure full alignment with customer operational requirements and performance expectations.
• Manage, lead, and resolve customer escalations effectively and promptly.
• Meet all service-level agreements (SLAs) related to delivery performance, responsiveness, and service quality.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that support long-term business success.
• Act as the primary regional interface for customer supply chain operations and related improvement initiatives.

2. Materials Planning & Execution

• Oversee end-to-end materials planning and ensure all required materials are available locally.
• Ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance to support customer operations.
• Monitor order fulfillment and proactively address delivery risks, delays, and shortages.
• Collaborate with global planning teams to align demand, supply, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify and resolve material shortages, supply disruptions, and operational bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvements in planning and execution processes to support business growth and operational stability.

3. Leadership & People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop the regional Customer Supply Chain team.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adequate resource planning, capability development, and succession planning.
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
• Promote knowledge sharing and alignment across regional and global teams.

4. Cost Management & Operational Efficiency

• Drive regional cost-reduction initiatives to achieve or exceed annual TAP targets.
• Optimize logistics, inventory management, and operational processes for efficiency.
• Monitor cost performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance service quality while reducing operational costs.

5. Compliance & Risk Management

Safety & Security

• Ensure strict adherence to corporate safety and security policies.
• Promote a strong safety culture through regular training and compliance monitoring.
• Ensure business continuity plans and risk mitigation measures are in place and maintained.

Trade & Customs Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, import/export laws, and trade policies.
• Partner with global compliance teams to manage risks and ensure audit readiness.
• Monitor regulatory developments and implement required process changes.

6. Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management

• Collaborate effectively with Customer Support counterparts, account managers, factory teams, and global headquarters.
• Serve as the regional interface between internal stakeholders and customer operations.
• Communicate performance updates, risks, and improvement actions clearly and proactively.
• Align regional priorities with global supply chain strategies and business objectives.
• Support strategic projects, site start-ups, and operational transformation initiatives as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations, logistics, or customer-facing environments.
• Experience in high-tech, semiconductor, or complex equipment environments is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing high-impact customer engagements and leading operational teams.
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management across global and regional organizations.
