DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES | About the role

This role will report to the Senior Solution Engineer

As the Senior Solution Engineer , you will:

• Handle F5 pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
• Understand customer requirements and design appropriate F5 solutions.
• Conduct POCs, technical workshops and solution validation.
• Prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
• Provide technical expertise on F5 BIG-IP LTM, WAF, DNS, APM, AFM and Distributed Cloud solutions.
• Support F5 implementation, configuration, migration, integration and troubleshooting
• Work on application delivery, load balancing, SSL/TLS, high availability and traffic management requirements.
• Support F5 upgrades, migrations and performance optimization.
• Coordinate with F5 OEM, sales, partners and customer technical teams for technical discussions and escalations.
• Provide customer training and knowledge-transfer sessions.
• Identify opportunities for F5 Professional Services, implementation, migration and managed services. 1

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE | About you

The ideal Senior Solution Engineer :

• Qualification achelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in network security, application delivery, or cybersecurity solutions.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of F5 BIG-IP technologies.
• Experience with F5 BIG-IP LTM, DNS, Advanced WAF, APM and AFM is preferred.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS and network security.
• Experience in F5 pre-sales, POC, solution design, implementation and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of load balancing, application delivery, high availability and traffic management.
• Experience working with enterprise and multi-vendor network environments.
• Exposure to F5 migration, upgrades, performance tuning and integration.
• Good customer-facing, communication and technical presentation skills.
• Ability to prepare HLD/LLD, BOM, technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
• F5 certification such as F5-CA or F5-CTS is an added advantage.
• Experience with F5 Distributed Cloud, automation/API and cloud environments will be an added advantage. 1
