A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Software Tester, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality testing expertise and ensuring that all software products meet required standards. You will collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and end-users in an Agile environment to ensure system functionality, usability, and performance.

YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the delivery of testing solutions in a collaborative team environment

• Develop and maintain test plans, test scripts, test data, and reports

• Manage software issues using JIRA and clearly communicate defects

• Review user stories and provide accurate test estimates

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project planning

• Facilitate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Conduct manual and API testing to identify potential issues

• Create and maintain automated test cases to improve efficiency

• Implement BDD (Behaviour Driven Development) practices

• Design and execute test scenarios for comprehensive coverage

• Analyse test results and report findings to stakeholders

• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve bugs

• Stay updated with testing tools and methodologies

• Mentor junior testers and share best practices

• Support the Product Manager with additional assigned tasks

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• At least 5 years' experience in software testing on complex projects

• Expertise in manual testing and API testing

• Familiarity with BDD and automated testing tools

• Proficient with JIRA and Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and strong documentation skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Experience leading UAT processes

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Desirable:

• Experience with Appian or low-code platforms

• Legal tech background is a plus
