YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work in fortnightly iteration-based software development environment and required to attend Daily stand-ups, retros, planning, showcases and other Scrum activities;

• Provide support of micro-services during business hours and in a rotating support roster for 24x7 on-call;

• Work on Change Requests, Incidents, Defects and Problem Records;

• Maintain software and infrastructure currency;

• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems;

• Participate in Service Governance and Compliance activities;

• Complete mandatory trainings and keep your skills up to date based on project requirements and personal development;

• Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility;

• Apply pro-actively & perform hands-on design and implementation of best practice CI/CD;

• Coaching & mentoring of other Service Team members;

​YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5+ years’ extensive experience of SRE or Production/Application Support across all Phases of the software lifecycle;

• Strong English communication (oral and written)

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and on-call operations, troubleshooting on production environment

• Experienced in public cloud technologies; (AWS, Azure, GCP,...)

• Have an in-depth understanding of microservice architecture, API management, and distributed systems concepts; 

• Hands-on Kubernetes experience and strong knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS) are essential.

• Skills on AppDynamics, Splunk & OpenSearch or any kind of monitoring & observability tools;

• Experienced and highly capable in continually developing and balancing technical and soft skills with an understanding that making great software requires both problem identification and prevention;

• Strong problem solving skills and stakeholder management
