As a leading provider of aged care and community services, we're looking for a Senior Scheduler to join our Home Care team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients receive consistent, high-quality care from the right people at the right time.
About the Role
As a Senior Scheduler, you'll be responsible for developing and managing forecasted rosters across our Home Care southwestern services, balancing client needs, workforce availability, continuity of care, and operational efficiency. You'll act as a key point of contact for clients requiring schedule adjustments and work closely with Care Team Leaders to support workforce planning and service growth
This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility to work 3 days in the Penrith office and 2 days from home following your training period.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, refine and dispatch forecasted rosters for Home Care services
- Optimise workforce utilisation while maintaining continuity of care
- Liaise with clients regarding scheduling changes and care team preferences
- Identify workforce gaps and support recruitment and workforce planning activities
- Monitor scheduling performance, utilisation, roster efficiency and service quality outcomes
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, workforce shortages and operational issues
- Generate and analyse reports using scheduling systems and Power BI
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and customer experience
About You
- You are a highly organised and analytical scheduling professional who can confidently manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ideally, you'll bring:
- Significant experience in a rostering or scheduling role
- Previous experience in aged care, healthcare, community services or a related industry
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- High attention to detail and the ability to work with complex data
- Advanced administration and Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Experience working across multiple sites or service locations
- A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel when required
