Senior Quality Systems Specialist (Program Management Quality)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Senior Quality Systems Specialist (Program Management Quality) to join their Vertical Lift Quality Team in Mesa, AZ. This position will become a Quality point of contact for all BGS Apache contractual work. 

Position Responsibilities:

·         Involved in the contract proposal and award process to ensure all Quality attributes are incorporated

·         Performs Early Quality Involvement (EQI) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)

·         Incorporates quality attributes into contracts proactively to mitigate risk during contract execution phases

·         Validates supplier readiness and capability partnered with Supplier Quality during contract proposals

·         Integrates with Program Management to ensure proper quality requirement are applied to contracts

·         Identifies and corrects risk to the Quality Management System (QMS) & Safety Management System (SMS)

·         Works Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) to correct product and process non-conformances impacting the program

·         Operates as the BGS Mesa Notice of Escape (NOE) focal

·         Operates as the BGS Mesa Product Quality Deficiency Report (PQDR) focal

·         Partners with BGS Mesa Internal Auditor to identify and correct non-compliances

·         Partners with the BGS Mesa Corrective and Preventative Action (CAPA) Focal

·         Works closely with BGS Program Management as the BGS Apache Program Quality focal

·         Pulls data to create metrics/KPIs in support of program priorities

·         Communicates cross-functionally to ensure all relevant BGS Apache quality information is known by stakeholders (Program Management, Contracts, Engineering, Supplier Management, Supplier Quality, etc)

·         Works under minimal direction

·         Work closely with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA)

·         Ability to stay organized under high workload demands

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

·         5+ years’ experience in the contract proposal/award/execution process

·         5+ years’ experience interfacing with senior leaders & executives

·         5+ years’ experience supporting a Quality organization

·         5+ years’ experience working process improvement or RCCA

·         A deep understanding of each functional organization (PM, QA, Eng, SQ, SM, etc)

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

·         10+ years’ experience in leading contract proposal/award/execution efforts

·         10+ years’ experience interfacing with senior leaders & executives

·         Years of proven and documented workplace performance

·         Ability to pull data via SQL and manipulate/visualize it (Python, Tableau, etc)

Summary pay range: $117,300 -$158,700/Annually
