About the role:

• Lead key strategic, cross-functional innovation projects - such as new product development, packaging changes, new product claims and key process improvements - to drive delivery of business goals. 
• May lead broader organizational initiatives such as capability building, select governance forums & portfolio support with guidance.

Key responsibilities:

Scope of Role

• Demonstrates proficiency in delivering innovation projects of varying complexity, ensuring alignment to business objectives, value creation targets and launch success criteria.
• Drives rapid project initiation and structured execution to accelerate speed-to-impact while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• For select markets, may be responsible for coordinating market-level launch readiness and ensuring successful local deployment.
• Builds deep understanding of category strategies, portfolio priorities, project interdependencies and resource constraints to proactively support delivery of the innovation pipeline.

Leadership

• Role model HALEON culture and behaviors, fostering an environment of accountability, collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.
• Guides cross-functional teams in evaluating opportunities, risks, trade-offs and resource implications to support fewer, bigger and better innovation choices.
• Actively coaches and develops project team members on project management best practices, contributing to broader capability building across the organization.
• Provides data-driven recommendations and structured scenario analysis to support portfolio prioritization, project shaping and key business decisions.
• Builds trust and alignment across cross-functional teams and geographies, enabling effective collaboration and timely decision making.
• Proactively identifies and addresses team dynamics, driving conflict resolution through skilled negotiation and influence while escalating appropriately when required.

Project Management

• Serves as a strategic partner to the Project Accountable Lead (PAL), providing project leadership, challenge and structure to maximize initiative success.
• Accountable for establishing and maintaining effective cross-functional project teams, ensuring roles, responsibilities and decision rights are clearly understood.
• Guides core teams to enable timely decision making, effective stakeholder management, adherence to governance requirements and successful execution against agreed plans.
• Ensures project scope, success criteria, business objectives and delivery strategy are clearly defined, aligned and maintained throughout project lifecycle.

• Develops and maintains integrated project plans within the PPM system, incorporating cross-functional deliverables, market deployment activities, dependencies and resource requirements.
• Drives transparency of project health, milestone achievement, risks, opportunities and key decisions through high-quality project tracking and reporting.
• Facilitates robust risk and opportunity management, ensuring mitigation and contingency plans are proactively developed, regularly reviewed and effectively executed.
• Challenges assumptions constructively and brings an enterprise mindset to decision making, helping teams maximise impact, value creation and probability of success.
• Supports portfolio planning activities through informed probability-of-success assessments and delivery insights.
• Identifies issues and emerging risks early, driving timely resolution through appropriate escalation and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensures significant changes to scope, timing, investment, risk profile or expected business outcomes are communicated and governed through agreed change management processes.
• Maintains high-quality and on-time project data and documentation, ensuring accuracy and integrity of information within project management systems.
• Leads project teams through governance and stage-gate processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables, strong gate readiness and clear follow-through on outcomes and actions.
• Facilitates effective stakeholder communication across functions and geographies to maintain alignment and support successful delivery.
• Drives disciplined budget planning, forecasting and tracking, ensuring visibility and proactive management of variances.
• Conducts structured post-launch and lessons learned reviews, capturing actionable insights and promoting best practices across the organization.
• Supports measurement of launch readiness and project success by ensuring key performance indicators, assumptions and delivery outcomes are appropriately tracked and reviewed.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Business/Finance, Engineering
• At least 7 years of experience, preferably in R&D or Marketing, Supply Chain, including Project Management in a consumer healthcare environment or related area (e.g., CPG, pharmaceutical, etc.).
• Project Management Certification will be preferred
• Proven delivery of effective project management across a range of project types and complexities. Has held project management and/or leadership positions in organizations of comparable size.
• Strong analytical skills
• Comfortable operating in situations characterized by complexity, ambiguity and high levels of uncertainty
• Understanding of the key business processes and functions within a transnational healthcare company
• Negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at levels above and below own grade level
• Ability to influence & challenge through courageous conversations
• Ability to gauge & adjust communication style to audience
• Proficiency in role modeling accountability and holding others accountable
• Proficiency in building trust with teams and stakeholders
