You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery as well managing the business outcomes of multiple Tech Risk Remediation projects
To ideal candidate is someone that thrives at managing complex stakeholder relationships and programs involving many cross-function teams onshore and offshore. You will work closely with senior technology leads, product owners and other project managers in Vietnam, India and Australia.
YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project integration management: ensure project planning, execution & controls are properly integrated.
- Project communications management: provide targeted communication to all stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues and to measure and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Change management: ensure an effective change management plan is developed ensuring that the required change date is achieved.
- Benefits management: facilitate delivery of the business outcomes and to enable the project sponsor to realise return on investment.
- Knowledge management: adhere and contribute to knowledge management objectives and processes. Ensure knowledge harvesting occurs at all appropriate phases of the project
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Must-have:
- 7+ years of Project Management experience
- Excellent experience in Agile methodologies and ability to apply in practice
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex technology projects involving multiple engineering teams both onshore and offshore. Experience managing complex digital products (e.g. Online Banking, (Infrastructure) and large digital projects)
- Strong stakeholder management experience – raise and resolve blockers from the Vietnam team with Australia stakeholders.
- Technically competent with various software programs like Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio & Sharepoint, JIRA, Confluence Ability, AI tools (Cursor, Co-Pilot) to manage financials and project plans
- Strong leadership and motivational skills and ability to present and negotiate with senior stakeholders
- Strong English communication skills (verbal & written)
- Experience managing projects in infrastructure/ networks/ mainframe/ operating system builds.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in large enterprise organisations e.g. banking
- Exposure to Infrastructure and Cloud technologies
- Tertiary Degree in Finance, Banking or Accounting from a recognised institution is preferred.
- Post-graduate qualification is desirable
